The Young Americans Dinner Theatre is back and better than ever.

The Young Americans are excited to get back on the Boyne Highlands stage and entertain once again for the Summer 2021 season. This summer we're introducing new matinee show options, which gives our guests the flexibility to see the Young Americans perform without having to attend a dinner inclusive performance.

Summer 2021 Show Information

  • There will be some changes this year to stay within the Michigan Department of Health guidelines, and we want our guests to be prepared in advance. Changes to the dining experience this season include:

    • A maximum of two family households will be seated per table
    • Tables will be set 6' apart from each other
    • If your party is less than 6 individuals, you may have to sit with another party
    • Masking is required to and from the table
    • There will be no family style dishes to pass at the table
    • Appetizers that were in the Zoo Bar in the past will now be brought directly to the table
    • Guests can purchase tickets for an entire table to ensure their party will be seated separately from another party
    • We will be taking recommendations from the Michigan Department of Health, and arrangements are subject to change based on their guidelines
  • Shows will be held beginning Friday, June 25 through Saturday, August 28. This year, the Young Americans will have Mondays off instead of Sundays.

    Dinner Theatre Shows:

    • Tuesday through Saturday

    Matinee Shows:

    • Saturday and Sunday at 2pm
  • Due to capacity restrictions this season, the total number of tickets available will be nearly half in comparison to prior years. It is recommended you purchase your tickets as soon as possible to guarantee your spot as we expect to sell out for the season quickly. No tickets will be held without payment - all tickets need to be purchased in full.

It is preferred that you purchase your tickets online if possible. If you have any issues purchasing your tickets online, please contact the Box Office at 231.526.3152, which will be open for phone calls beginning May 10.

    Purchase Tickets

  • For the first time since the Young Americans Dinner Theatre began in 1978, we are introducing matinee show options. Matinee show options are available on Saturday and Sundays afternoons.

    • Saturday will still have the dinner option, but the matinee will be added as a second option.
    • Sundays will only have the matinee option.
  • As with many ticketed events, the 2021 Young American pricing structure will utilize a variable model based on guest demand.  Our matinee option will offer the best value, eliminating the dinner component.  With the full show experience, pricing will fluctuate based on guest demand. Due to the limited demand, we encourage you to purchase your tickets well in advance as tickets will go quickly!

IMPORTANT PRICING NOTE:  Taxes and gratuity will be automatically included in the ticket price this season. As always, the Young Americans cast greatly appreciates any and all additional gratuities after the show, if you desire.
