New Matinee Experience Offered

The Young Americans Return to the Boyne Highlands’ Stage

After a year out of the spotlight, The Young Americans Dinner Theatre is returning to the stage at Boyne Highlands Resort.   For over four decades, the beloved Young Americans have been enchanting guests of all ages and excitement is high to resume this northern Michigan summertime tradition.

Performances kick off on Friday, June 25 and run through Saturday, August 28.

This summer offers a new matinee experience for those wanting to experience the show without dining.  Matinee performances are being offered on Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 2 p.m.

The Young Americans Dinner Theatre is available Tuesdays through Saturdays.  Show goers can expect some changes this year, including appetizers being served directly to tables in place of the former gathering within the Zoo Bar, and a revamped menu removing family-style dishes.

For both offerings, in accordance with current restrictions and subject to change, tables are being spaced six-feet apart, face masks are required at all times unless seated at your table and eating and drinking, and a maximum of two family households will be seated per table.

The Young Americans dazzle on stage and captivate audiences with an original show each season featuring a variety of musical genres and dance styles.  The cast is made up of young up-and-coming performers, handpicked from across the nation to spend their summers in Harbor Springs.

“The Young Americans are such an amazing, uplifting, group of young people,” said Mike Chumbler, president and general manager of Boyne Highlands Resort.  “They inspire through their music, and offer an incredible show.  We are thrilled to again be able to offer this experience at Boyne Highlands.”

With reduced capacities, tickets will be limited, and are expected to sell quickly.  For more information, including menus, frequently asked questions, ticket prices, or to purchase tickets online, visit boynehighlands.com

The Box Office for phone reservations opens on May 10, and can be reached at 231.526.3152.
