Boyne Resorts Relocates Michigan Call Center

The Boyne Resorts Michigan Call Center has moved off resort property for the first time since opening in 1997.  The Call Center answers and books lodging calls for Boyne Highlands, Boyne Mountain, and Inn at Bay Harbor, Autograph Collection, as well as reserves tee times for the resorts' 10 courses.

The new Call Center offices are located at 3890 Charlevoix Ave., just outside of Bay Harbor on US-31.  The Call Center was previously based at Boyne Mountain Resort.  A ribbon cutting held for the new offices took place on Tuesday, Aug. 14.

Bernie Friedrich, senior vice president of golf operations and resort sales, says the move provides the Call Center with more space to grow allowing for the hiring of five additional full-time, year-round team members.

"This is a modern facility that is not only centrally located to our resort operations but also to where many of our current employees reside.  With a closer location to Petoskey, we hope to recruit more talented, customer-oriented individuals to join our team."

A Reservation Sales Agent earns an hourly wage with commissions and incentives totaling $35,000-$60,000 annually.  Job duties include making new reservations, assisting customers with questions regarding their existing reservation, quoting rates, posting deposits, and providing general knowledge of the resorts, golf, and area attractions, among other duties.  Team members also receive free ski and golf passes for themselves and immediate family members, as well as discounts on retail, food and beverage, spa, waterpark, and more at Boyne Resorts' properties.
