Lift Ticket FAQ

  • When you get to the resort, head to an Online Ticket Kiosk and scan the QR code from your confirmation email to redeem and get your Go Card. If you already have a season pass or Ikon Pass, you can skip this step.

    When it's time to ski or ride, place your Go Card in a jacket pocket, away from credit cards, cellphones, or other RFID-enabled tickets - chest or sleeve pockets are perfect. If you have a small child, you might need to give them a little boost to get their card scanned.

    There are several Online Ticket Kiosks conveniently placed around the resort:

    • Skier Services (located at the Day Lodge)
    • SnowSport Rentals
    • Main Lodge Lobby
    • Tower Lobby
    • Heather Highlands Inn Lobby

  • With a multi-day ticket, you now have more flexibility than ever before! Buy 3 days, and you have 4 consecutive days to use all 3 tickets! 

  • If your plans change after purchasing your lift ticket online - and you're not able to make it on the ski day you purchased your ticket for - we'll credit the value of your ticket for another ski day. It's required that you call Skier Services at 231.526.3030 by 3 PM prior to the day your ticket starts and we'll add a voucher to your online account for the value of your ticket you can use towards the purchase of another ticket on any other date this season.*

    Credit Vouchers are good for a two-year period from the beginning of the season.

  • Lift tickets are ONLY good at The Highlands. The multi-resort Lake eFlex Ticket Pack can be used at both The Highlands and Boyne Mountain.

  • Yes, you will be able to reload or add additional days to your Go Card by visiting the following on-resort areas:

    • Skier Services, located in the Day Lodge
    • SnowSports Desk, located in the Day Lodge

    It is recommended that you add days to your card by using your personal device so that you can limit waiting in lines at the resort. 

  • The following dates are considered Holidays for the Winter 2023-24 season:

    • Christmas: December 26, 2023 - December 31, 2023
    • Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend: January 13 & 14, 2024
    • Presidents Weekend: February 16-18, 2024

  • Night-time is special at The Highlands. For those guests looking to ski under the bright slope lights, this ticket is for you. Night tickets are good for skiing and boarding from 5 - 9 PM on select evenings.

    • December 2023: 26 - 31
    • January 2024: 1 - 6, 10 - 14, 17 - 20, 24 - 27, 31
    • February 2024:  1 - 3, 7 - 10, 14 - 18, 21 - 24, 28-29
    • March 2024: 1 - 2, 6 - 9

    Extended Ski Hours: 9 AM - 7 PM

      • March 2024: 10-16

  • Yes, as soon as your purchase of your initial card has been completed you will immediately have access to add additional days to your card.

  • Tickets are open-to-close. If the resort is open 9am to 4:30pm, then your ticket is good 9am to 4:30pm. If the resort is open 9am to 9pm, then your ticket is good 9am to 9pm.

  • If you purchase online in advance, your BoyneRewards points will be automatically added to your account if you are logged in with the same profile that your BoyneRewards is associated with.

  • Save $20 off Open-to-Close/Night ski lift tickets and $10 off bike park lift tickets with U.S. Military ID at the ticket window only. There are no blackout dates. This offer is not available with advance purchases or discounted/promo tickets. Military members must show Active/Retired ID—for active/retired military and their immediate family members only.


  • Yes. Gift cards can be used online when purchasing your lift ticket.
