If you are unable to use the card as originally planned, you should be reminded that the card is valid all season and you are free to use it (given it still has days on it) anytime until we close. If the card has not yet been picked up, we can transfer it to another guest given they are in same age range.

No. Happiness Cards are not transferrable to another person for use. Happiness Cards can only be used by the person whose name is clearly shown on the card.
No. Happiness Cards are only good at Boyne Highlands Resort in Harbor Springs, Michigan. If you are looking for a lift product that includes multi-resort access at both Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain, you'll want the multi-resort lift ticket.
Happiness Cards are only available for purchase online at this time. Once the snow is flying and our winter season kicks off, we will be offering the Happiness Card for purchase at Skier Services in the Day Lodge (date to be determined).

The dates that are preloaded onto your Happiness Card give you the flexibility to use them how you see fit. Whether that is consecutively or non-consecutively, you choose!
If at a later date you decide to add ski dates to your Happiness Card those ski dates will be date specific. If you are not looking to ski consecutively with your add-on dates then purchase another Happiness Card lift pack.
Open-to-close add-on days for the Happiness Card are date specific, and if you select more than 1 day ticket to add-on, the days need to be used consecutively (unlike the initial Happiness Card you purchased that allows non-consecutive usage). If you're not looking to ski consecutively with your add-on dates, select 1 day ticket and pick your date on the calendar, and add to your cart. You can repeat this process for each day you'd like added on your card.
We will be scanning at all our lifts this year. When you come to the lift, a Boyne Highlands team member will scan your Happiness Card and a ski day will automatically be deducted from your Happiness Card.
It's important to note that your card will likely be scanned multiple times per day as you use the lift system. However, only one ski day will be deducted from your Happiness Card.
If you purchase your Happiness Card before December 1, during the checkout process you will be given the option to have your Happiness Card mailed to you. After December 1 all Happiness Cards will need to be picked up at one of our Online Ticket Kiosks.

No, as soon as your purchase of your initial card has been completed you will immediately have access to add additional days to your card.
Yes, you can. Days are removed from your card in the following priority order:
1. Date specific days (these are additional days purchased during the reload process).
2. Pre-loaded non-specific days (these are the original days pre-loaded to your card).
All days on Happiness Cards MUST be used by the end of the winter 2021/22 season or they expire. There is no refund for unused days.
