Fall at the Highlands

September is here, which means fall is near!

The days are shorter, the breezes are crisper, and the trees are more colorful. Boyne Highlands Resort is one of the best places in northern Michigan to experience everything what Autumn has to offer.

Let a scenic chair ride up the Heather Express lift be a must do to see panoramic fall colors. On a clear day you may be able to see as far as the Mackinac Bridge! When you’ve finished enjoying the stunning pure Michigan views, enjoy the exhilarating ride back down on the lift to the lodge.

Looking for an even more heart racing experience and want to get an up close and personal view of those lovely fall colors? Try out our Zipline Adventure. The Zipline Adventure is an all thrills, no skills activity for adventure seekers of all ages. Fly through the fall foliage and experience our new 100-foot rope bridge. See Boyne Highlands like you've never seen it before.

After all the high-flying activities, it’s time to plant your feed on the ground. Sit back and enjoy a selection of Michigan draft beer, and lunch or dinner from Slopeside Lounge. Slopeside offers indoor dining as well as an outdoor covered patio where you can relax, and watch the leaves slowly fall.

Come visit during our Highlands Harvest Event. Saturday, October 2 from 11am–4pm. Atop the mountain there will be activities for everyone; including face painting and s'mores, as well as food and beverage with a focus on Michigan made products. It’s a perfect time to join us for this fun fall themed event in Harbor Springs. All chair lift rides are complimentary during the event.

We look forward to seeing you this fall.

Cheers!

Elly
