I think everyone in Michigan with a mountain bike was here this weekend. Thank you to everyone who came from far and wide to make our first (albeit late) days of the season so awesome. We had record attendance on Saturday and have high hopes to keep this train rolling for the rest of our summer season.
For the next few weeks we will be catching up on our regularly scheduled trail maintenance before getting back to work full time on lower Dirt E Dancing. The crew has been killing it getting open in record time, but there are still some minor trouble spots that need to be addressed. We are still hoping to have lower Dirt E Dancing ready to ride for summers end. Laps on that are not out of the question later on in the year as long as there are no other unforeseen circumstances in our future.
In case there is anyone that didn't already know we have moved shop! The Adventure Center is now located in the day lodge in the Skier Services Office! The new space should allow for an easier time getting tickets and keep the lines shorter. This new space was also necessary to house our new fleet of rental bikes, Rossignol R-Duros! We have more bikes of more varying sizes to try and keep up with increasing demand. There are also full suspension kids bikes now available so your little rippers can come too!
Thanks again for helping us get this season going the right way, and hopefully I can give everyone more good news going forward!
